English: Steelmark logo, originated by U. S. Steel and used by AISI to promote the steel industry. The Pittsburgh Steelers' logo is based on the Steelmark logo belonging to the American Iron and Steel Institute. The Steelmark was also used briefly by the Pittsburgh Steelers as a helmet logo. Adapted from sample images appearing in various locations on the World Wide Web. Created by contributor, using True BASIC, AutoCAD 14, Adobe Illustrator 9 running on Windows 98SE and Inkscape 0.46 on Ubuntu 8.10 (Linux). |
