English: Funerary stele for Psammetichos, divine father (i.e. Priest, of Ptah), nomarch, and bearer of many other titles. He was born in Year 3 of Necho II (cartouches in row 1) and died at 71, in Year 35 of Amasis (cartouches in row 7). Reign of Amasis (Year 35), 26th dynasty, Late period, white limestone. Found by the Ippolito Rosellini expedition (1828-29) almost certainly in the Menphite area.
