| Description |
English: Temperatures are hottest at the top of the vivarium closest to the heat lamp, while cooler the farther away from the heat lamp. Steppe Runners generally regulate their body temperature by moving around the vivarium. This specimen is approximately mid-way between the top and bottom of the heat source. |
