| Description |
English: Steps to Water Meadows. Old steps sandwiched between 1073281 and 1073303 take the footpath down to the water meadows that abut the River Tame. These fields often flood, so the pathway across them is raised (see 14976). The tiles and bricks seen here in good condition which belies their age, as they are the very hard-wearing blue bricks which were made in large quantities in the local area in the past as the local clay has the required properties. |
