Description
Deutsch: Das östlichste Deckengemälde im dem Mittelschiff der Stiftskirche von St.Gallen. Der Bildtitel lautet: "St. Gallus als Fürbitter des Klosters und seiner Länder". Gallus empfiehlt das Kloster und seine Länder dem Schutz der Muttergottes. Das Fresko zeigt auch die Aposteln St. Petrus und Paulus, sowie die Heiligen Mauritius und Desiderius. Der Entwurf stammt von Johann Christian Wentzinger, ausführender Maler war Joseph Wannenmacher.
