Summary[edit]
DescriptionStones-river-long-hunter-tn1.jpg | The J. Percy Priest Lake impoundment of Stones River at Long Hunter State Park near Nashville, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. This point can be accessed from the Volunteer Trail in the park's Bakers Grove section. Stones River was named for long hunter Uriah Stone, whose hides were stolen from him by a French hunting companion somewhere along the river around 1767. The incident would also influence the naming of the park. |
