Apatite
Purple apatite from Maine elicits a reverent response among serious mineral collectors. That is because the Smithsonians "Roebling Apatite" is considered one of the great mineral specimens in the world. This well terminated, transparent, lustrous, purple beauty is an old specimen, having once belonged to Fred Pough. The termination is complete and perfect. here it is shown at its worst angle, so i can say its better in person...It has superb color and glassy lustre - BETTER IN PERSON!
