English: Sturminster Marshall: Newton Cross signpost This ageing sign has retained the finial from the original finger-post, containing location and grid reference details.
The two signs for the Village centre and Almer are not actually in such a poor condition as appears, because of the reflection of the sun looking at it from down here. A few months later, the sign was replaced - see 1741455. For a close-up of the finial (after being transferred to the new signpost), see 1741460. |
