Summary[edit]

Description

A map of the German state of Baden-Württemberg in its current borders and the three states that were merged into it in 1952, with the respective capitals: blue is Württemberg-Baden, yellow (Süd-)Baden, red Württemberg-Hohenzollern. (The light blue area to the south is the Bodensee.) Map was produced by myself, reference was a small image in a publication by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, a federal bureau which releases books and other media for educational purposes.

This map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Suedweststaat.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
