English: Swindon to Gloucester railway near Frampton Mansell This image was taken from a track just above the western portal of the Sapperton tunnel. A High Speed Train is proceeding away from the viewpoint towards Stroud. The line, although picturesque, experienced engineering problems from the outset back in the mid 19th century largely to do with the nature of the land through which it passed. |
