Description

Diagram for w:en:Evolution of sex. Created in Corel Draw by Michael Reeve, 17 May 2004. Converted to SVG on 31 October 2009 using Inkscape v0.46. The red and blue lines illustrate the effects of synergistic and antagonistic w:en:epistasis vs. number of deleterious mutations. The black diagonal obtains in the case of no epistasis, i. e. the effects of mutations add up independently of each other.
