English: Takeoff by John Fowler.
I was taking multiple shots of this crane taking off with the camera in continuous mode and the shutter button held down. I panned the camera to keep the bird near the center of the frame. At the D800E's maximum frame rate of 5 fps, I got nine shots in about two seconds. Yesterday I had the idea that maybe I could put these images into Photoshop layers and piece them together to make a single image. Because the background overlapped (by mere chance), it worked. Then I fuzzed up the edges and put in a tan background. |
