Summary[edit]

Description
English: Tanybwlch Beach. Looking along the beach which, with Pendinas Hill (just out of view on the left), became a nature reserve in 1999. Just visible in the trees to the right of centre is the Plas Tanybwlch mansion. It was built in 1825 by a veteran general of the Napoleonic Wars. Much later, after the 2nd World War, it became an isolation hospital and remained in use as a hospital until Bronglais 729538 was opened in 1966. It has since been used as a halls of residence and a catering college. It is now back in private hands, the last reported sale being to a German pop star.
