Summary[edit]
DescriptionTer Hill Cross - geograph.org.uk - 644564.jpg |
English: Ter Hill Cross This is the western of two crosses on Ter Hill, the eastern cross can be seen in the background. The crosses known as the 'Terrill Posts' stand about 100 yards apart. This cross is a replica of the original one and was erected on the 21st of June, 1994. It is dedicated to Tom Gant, a well known Dartmoor enthusiast and author, as the plaque on the lefthand stone shows. The original cross can be found in the garden of the High Moorland Visitor centre at Princetown where it was moved to for its own protection. |
