Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Antrim coast road near Ballygally The Antrim coast road was built between 1832 and 1843 – the idea came from the surveyor William Bald. It replaced the inland route (still in existence) which tended to become impassable during the winter. It follows the sea like this for much of the way from Larne to Cushendall (24 miles) and is classified as an “A” road. This section is north of Ballygally.
