Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Bell Inn The Bell Inn was built around 1520. It probably is Broadlands oldest recorded inn, with most of the original building still in use today. The name is derived from the ferryman's bell, which was kept here to be rung by customers who wished to be taken across the river. Business increased after the construction of the Hobart Bridge. The Bell Inn is located on the busy A143 Great Yarmouth/Beccles road and its patio overlooks the River Waveney.
