English: The High Road Park in Galashiels This long narrow park with a Southwest aspect, sits between the High Road to the right and a steep embankment on the left that runs down to Ladhope Vale in the town centre. The local council no longer cut the small embankment to the right after a council worker had an accident on this slope with grass cutting equipment. |
