| Description |
English: The River Trent north of Alrewas, Staffordshire There had been little rain in the previous six weeks, so river levels were quite low. The picture was taken in late evening with the sun very low, hence the golden glow to the trees. Cattle were grazing nearby on the lush pasture on the floodplain. |
