English: The River Trent north of Alrewas, Staffordshire. A wide angle view showing the boom which boats using the Trent and Mersey Canal (it shares the river course briefly here) being carried onto the weir by river currents. The picture was taken with the sun low, in late evening, hence the golden glow to the trees. |
