English: The Yaroslavl footbridge across Western Way, Exeter "The bridge, linking South Street with the Cathedral & Quay Car Park, was designed in 1992 by Bruce Marshall and opened by a delegation from Yaroslavl, Exeters twin city in Russia." ( http://www.exeter.gov.uk/media/pdf/0/m/page11_1.pdf ) Western Way, part of Exeter's inner bypass, passes through a gap in the city walls, and the southern side of the footbridge runs along the wall for a short way. |
