Summary[edit]
DescriptionThe road to Abergwesyn, Powys - geograph.org.uk - 1072407.jpg |
English: The road to Abergwesyn, Powys Maps show the road between Tregaron and Abergwesyn crossing the Afon Irfon through three fords in four hundred metres near here. This is approaching the middle one. At each, the road has been built up over pipe culverts to form structures known as Irish bridges. This road is a picturesque and popular tourist route in the summer months, but can be impassable in icy winter conditions or (for non 4WD vehicles) after heavy rain. |
