| Description |
English: The view from the fort. Looking westwards across Luce Bay. The Rhinns of Galloway, on the opposite shore, are hidden by the haze. The green areas in the middle and foreground are the ancient raised beach - some pebbles are visible naturally, and there has been some extraction of pebbles across the road from the car. The 'real' beach is beyond, with no visible vegetation [just seaweed]. |
