Summary[edit]

Description
English: The western approaches to Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
From the foot / cycle path on the eastern side of the Humber Bridge, one gains a clear impression of the arterial routes servicing Hull. Included in the photograph is the railway which now boasts "Hull Trains" (http://www.hulltrains.co.uk/ ) an excellent East Coast Main Line service to London Kings Cross, the A63 named as the Clive Sullivan Way (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clive_Sullivan ), and distantly the river Humber. Woodcliffe Lane is seen crossing the railway and the road and gives access to Hessle Foreshore; engineers will note the differing standards for road bridges as they cross roads versus as they cross railways.
