Description

Part of the libretto of Thespis from W. S. Gilbert's Original Plays: Fourth Series page 468. The libretto of Thespis is well-known to be corrupt, and this scan emphasises one small instance of sloppy editing, to wit, "He's you're brother". Retouched to remove a few pencil marks in the upper right that were part of notes on a Thespis reconstruction.

Not shown: The left-hand margin notes assigning the lines to various characters.
