Description

Thobe's fountain at the University of Miami. More here

Constructed in the early 1900s by bricklayer and Miami sports fan Harry S. Thobe as a gift to the University. It was replaced by a smaller one in 1952, and removed altogether in 1959.
Date Likely between 1900-1930, the photographer's very active period [1]
