Description To Sua (ocean trench), one of two large holes in the ground by the coast in Lotofaga village, Upolu island in Samoa. Water flows into the deep hole through a lava tube tunnel. The two sua are situated in a beautiful garden park overlooking the southeast coast of the island. Open to visitors. The tomb of Laulu Fetauimalemau Mata'afa (1928 - 2007), wife of Samoa's first Prime Minister and the mother of cabinet minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa, the paramount chief of Lotofaga, is situated close to the sua.
