Description

Dispositif d'écoute de témoignages dans l'exposition Berlin 1933-1945, entre propagande et terreur,

Cette exposition se déroule le long de la Prinz-Albrecht-Strasse sur laquelle a été conservée une partie du mur de Berlin et qui était le lieu du quartier général de la Gestapo, du commandement central, du service de sécurité de la SS et après 1939 de l'Office central de la sécurité du Reich. Tous les bâtiments ont été détruits mais quelques cellules au sous-sol de ces édifices ont été conservées.

Panneaux et dispositifs multimédias présentent sous une verrière moderne la montée du national-socialisme, ses institutions, ses actions d'extermination en Allemagne et dans les pays occupés jusqu'à la défaite de 1945. (voir photo)

A proximité se trouve le nouveau bâtiment servant de centre de documentation, intitulé "Topography of Terror" où l'on peut voir une exposition permanente sur les actions des nazis durant la guerre et les destructions de Berlin.
