Description
English: 3-domain, Zn-finger transcription factor Zif268 binding to its recognition site on DNA (PDB file 1AAY). The DNA is shown with backbone in pale yellow and bases in gold; each Zn finger domain is in a different color; the Zn atoms are gray balls, with red bonds to their 2 histidine and 2 cysteine ligands. Each domain recognizes the edges of 3 base-pairs of the DNA.
