Norsk bokmål: Trolltunga ligger 1100 moh er en spektakulær steinformasjon som står horisontalt ut fra fjellet rundt 700 meter over Ringedalsvatnet, i Skjeggedal ved Tyssedal i Odda kommune, Hordaland fylke.
For å komme til Trolltunga må man reise til Odda, så til Skjeggedal via Tyssedal. Her kan man ta Mågelibanen eller følge stien langs banen opp til Mågeligtopp. Herfra må man gå østover rundt 3 timer for å komme til Trolltunga. Turistforeningen har hytter i området hvor overnatting er mulig, nærmest er Reinaskorsbu med 6 sengeplasser. Området åpner opp mot resten av Hardangervidda, og kan være startpunktet for lengre turer, for eksempel til Hårteigen.
English: Trolltunga is at 1,100 meters above sea level, and is a spectacular rock formation that stands horizontally out of the mountain about 700 meters above Ringedal in Skjeggedal by Tyssedal in Odda, Hordaland county, Norway.
To get to Trolltunga must travel to Odda, then to Skjeggedal true Tyssedal. You can take the funicular or follow the trail along the path up to Mågeligtoppen. From here you have to go east about 3 hours to get to Trolltunga. Tourist Association have cabins in the area where the accommodation is possible, the closest one is Reinaskorsbu with 6 beds. The area opens up to the rest of Hardangervidda, and can be the starting point for longer trips, such as to Hårteigen. |
