Summary[edit]

Description
English: Tropical Storm Emily has changed little in strength since yesterday, with maximum sustained winds around 50 mph. The storm is poorly organized, in part due to upper level shear and dry air to the northwest. However, the storm still poses a danger to Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and the southern Bahamas. Tropical storm warnings are in effect in those locations. Emily is expected to strengthen after it passes over Hispaniola and moves north towards the Bahamas.
