Description
English: 090425-N-0426B-286 CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 25, 2009) The crew of the guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) mans the rails after bringing the ship to life at the ship's commissioning ceremony. Truxtun, the 53rd Arliegh Burke-class destroyer, was named after Commodore Thomas Truxtun who was selected as one of the Navy's first captains in 1798.
