Description
English: Naval Air Station North Island, Calif. (Jan. 14, 2003) -- Marines assigned to the "Red Dragons" of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Two Six Eight (HMM-268) based at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Calif., prepare their CH-46 "Sea Knight" helicopters for "shrink wrapping" prior to loading on Military Sealift Command container ships, during deployment preparations. The entire aircraft will be covered in a plastic material and heated to temperatures up to 2,000 degrees to shrink the plastic around the aircraft.
