English: Persian Gulf (Aug. 14, 2004) - Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Moataz Ghonem, an Egyptian-American assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Fifteen (HS-15) helps translate for Iranian mariners as Chief Cryptologic Technician John Fisher tries to determine what happened to their cargo dhow that started taking on water in the Persian Gulf. The aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) rescued six Iranians Saturday, August 14, 2004. The international mariners received medical attention and a warm meal aboard Kennedy during their stay.
