Description
English: ATSUGI, Japan (Feb. 3, 2010) Commanding Officer Capt. Eric Gardner, left, throws bags of soybeans to the people of Yamato at the city's Tenmangu shrine to celebrate Setsubun, or the day between two seasons. The bean throwing ceremony is conducted by a person considered to be the person of the year and passes on good luck and drives away evil spirits to anyone who catches the beans.
