English: ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 20, 2010) Engineman 2nd Class Griffith Riensche, from Kirkland, Wash., assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), boards the Senegalese navy ship Poponnquine during a visit, board, search, and seizure exercise. Gunston Hall and Poponnquine are supporting Africa Partnership Station (APS) West, an international initiative developed by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
