English: PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (July 6, 2010) - The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Atago-class guided missile destroyer JS Atago (DDG-177) departs Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to support Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2010 exercises. RIMPAC is a biennial, multinational exercise designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multinational interoperability.
