Description
English: PUERTO SANTO TOMAS, Guatemala (Sept. 10, 2010) Ensign Julian Panolli, left, a nurse from National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, and Lt. Susanne Hagenaars, both embarked aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), screen patients at a Continuing Promise 2010 medical site. Iwo Jima is anchored off the coast of Guatemala supporting Continuing Promise 2010, a humanitarian and civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nation's teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary, and engineering assistance to eight different nations.
