Description
English: Queensland, Australia (Mar. 1, 1997) -- A U.S. Navy Sailor demonstrates the available space inside a Transportable Recompression Chamber System (TRCS). These devices are used on divers who are brought to the surface too quickly for the body to properly decompress. The chamber recompresses the diver to a safe depth, and then slowly recompresses to normal pressure. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class H. Wolfgang Porter. (RELEASED)
