Summary[edit]
DescriptionUltrasound multi angle RGB compound imaging.svg |
English: Multi angle, RGB compound ultrasound imaging. At least three beams with different steered angles are sent into the tissue. The returning images can either coded into red, green and blue channels or averaged to form a gray image or rapidly displayed sequentialy so that the human eye average them by itself. Compound imaging can improve image quality substantially. Each beam better displays reflective surfaces that are near perpendicular to beam direction. |
