Description
English: Square Park, Boothtown The monument at the centre of the small park, "of Christian reverence for the emblem of the cross and of loyalty to our Sovereign Lady Queen Victoria" according to its inscription, was donated by Edward Akroyd, founder of Akroydon in 1859. Designed by William Swinden Barber in 1875.
