Summary[edit]

Description
English: View across the Waun towards the Glyderau. Gwaun (or, occasionally, Gwaen)is Welsh for a 'moor'. The name of the cottage just passed, Tal-y-waun SH7159, means simply 'front (or head) of the moor'. The photo shows the mixture of reeds and rough grass which form the vegetation cover. The mountains in the background are Gallt yr Ogof and Tryfan.
