This is Necropolis de Arteara, an cemetery from the pre-hispanic inhabitants of Gran Canaria. Originally, it held two thousand tumulus, but right now only 800+ are preserved. Each tumulus is made of stones. At the background, Arteara's palm grove. // La Necrópolis de Arteara es un cementario de los pobladores prehispánicos de Gran Canaria. Se sitúa en una de las laderas del bello Barranco de Fataga. Originalmente, la necrópolis consistía en dos mil túmulos, pero actualmente sólo se conservan poco más de 800, aunque la mayoría han sido expoliados. Los túmulos están realizados en piedra. Al fondo se puede ver el palmeral de Arteara.
