English: The Waldo Canyon fire as it approaches the Mountain Shadows neighborhood on the west side of Colorado Springs, taken at 4:37 pm on Tuesday, 26-June-2012 from a distance of apx. 8 miles. 346 homes in Mountain Shadows were reported to be destroyed by the fire as of 30-June-2012. (Note that the clock on my camera was off by one day and showed 6-25, but I verified the correct time of day). |
