„Geteilt durch einen Wellenschnitt, oben in Silber zwei schräg gekreuzte rote Giebelbretter mit abgewendeten Pferdeköpfen, unten in Blau ein silberner Fisch.“
§ 1 Absatz 3 der Hauptsatzung der Gemeinde Börgerende-Rethwisch
Das Wappen wurde am 9. August 2000 durch den Innenminister von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern genehmigt und unter der Nr. 223 der Wappenrolle von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern registriert.
