Warrior Rock Light is here on land projecting from Sauvie Island into the Columbia River.
Both these ships (one just left of the lighthouse and the one at far right are coming toward the camera, heading upriver on the Columbia River from the Pacific Ocean most like to Portland, Oregon. The lighthouse is an active guide to navigation and a reference point for river pilots to turn and follow the main channel.
