Description
English: Wartime Theatre- Entertainment in London, England, UK, August 1943
Mr Cooke, the theatre manager at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, (centre foreground) blows his whistle to call the theatre staff to roll call. The staff members assemble in the stalls, circle, upper circle and gallery. If there are staff away, then the remaining staff will be re-arranged to cover the gaps.
