| Description |
English: Waterfall on the Nidd Not far upstream from Lofthouse, where the infant Nidd drops over a limestone rib. A summertime photo from this point might find the waterfall dry as most of the Nidd's waters run underground between Manchester Hole and Nidd Heads. Some issues here about the grid reference as the fall appears to be almost at the junction of 4 squares, although the 1:25000 map places it within this square. |
