English: The Albert Trautmann Memorial (Albert-Trautmann-Denkmal) in Werlte, Landkreis Emsland, Lower Saxony, Germany. The bronze sculpture by Hans Gerd Ruwe was errected in 1989.
Deutsch: Das Albert-Trautmann-Denkmal in Werlte, Landkreis Emsland, Niedersachsen, Deutschland. Das 1989 vom Heimatverein Werlte mit Unterstützung der Gemeinde Werlte und dem Landkreis Emsland errichtete Denkmal erinnert an den Werlter Apotheker, Heimatforscher und Heimatdichter Albert Trautmann (1867–1920). Es steht auf einem Platz an der Ecke Kellerstraße/Sögeler Straße im Werlter Ortskern. Die lebensgroße Bronze-Plastik wurde nach einem Entwurf des Osnabrücker Bildhauers Hans Gerd Ruwe gegossen. Albert Trautmann stützt sich auf ein hohes Schreibpult, vor ihm liegt ein offenes Buch. Ein solches Stehpult diente Trautmann in der Apotheke dazu, in der Zeit zwischen den Besuchen der einzelnen Kunden literarisch zu arbeiten. Neben dem Buch befinden sich ein Tintenfass und ein Federhalter.
