English: Looking south at the intersection of westbound Independence Avenue SW and a service road in Washington, D.C., in the United States.
Westbound Independence Avenue curves north to avoid the northern bay of the Tidal Basin (right). A short service road allows traffic on eastbound Independence Avenue SW to make a sharp curve and reconnect with the westbound avenue. This pattern is repeated on the west side of the Tidal Basin bay as well. |
