Description
English: Logo proposal for wikidata. The central idea was to have the logo represent:
  1. Its about data
  2. Its a wiki
  3. Its a WMF project.
The barcode is an encoded data graphic that everyone with a modern lifestyle recognizes. The bars spell out "wiki" in morse code and is valid for any language. The colors are from the WMF logo

Italiano: Logo di Wikidata. Il logo rappresenta un codice a barre, i colori del logo della Wikimedia Foundation dividono questi segni in quattro lettere dell'alfabeto Morse in modo da comporre la parola "wiki".
